I AM Noticed is for EVERYONE!

The I AM Noticed Curriculum provides engaging activities that can be led by staff or student leaders. The goal is to use the lessons on a consistent basis throughout the school year.

Semester Lessons have 7 curricular focuses with 3 lessons built around each focus, for a total of 21 lessons designed to be taught in order. The time for each lesson can vary. Lessons were designed to fit into designated classrooms.

Quarter Lessons include 9 lessons. This curriculum set is designed to introduce secondary students to the positive concepts & practices of I AM Noticed. In a 9-week quarter, one lesson per week can be used from this curriculum as the cornerstone concept for that week. Each lesson can be experienced in a single class period, or feel free to expand the lessons over several days.

Community Lessons include 4 lessons. This curriculum set is an overview of the I AM Noticed Programming & Curriculum Model and is designed to be delivered schoolwide through a designated advisory or other class period.

Bonus Lessons are provided as supplemental lessons. These lessons can be ustilized by club leaders, classroom teachers, couselors or student leaders.
These lessons were established based on research that indicates that preparation and practice of positive mental wellness habits are foundational to high levels of social emotional intelligence. Teacher and student collaboration and connection is encouraged throughout the course to create a sense of belonging, greater mental wellness, increased confidence, and an even more positive school culture.

The Missouri K-12 School Counseling Learning Standards can be found for each lesson in a blue text.

Learning Targets can be found per grade level in green text.
