Grade 7: I can recognize how confidence shows up in my words, actions, and appearance.
Grade 8: I can choose affirming self-talk to help build authentic confidence.
Activity: Photo Booth Confidence!
-
Start by making a sign to hold in your photo. Your sign should have a positive or encouraging message.
Example: "Confidence is cool" or "I AM ________" (like "I AM strong"). -
Have fun! We’ll set up a photo booth in the classroom. You can take pictures alone or with friends. You can also use props if we have them!
What to Remember:
-
We take lots of pictures, and how we show ourselves matters.
-
Confidence starts inside, but when we feel it, people can see it on the outside too.
-
When we practice good habits—like saying kind things to ourselves—our confidence becomes real, and others will notice it too!
